Our plans for hosting a live Raggs casting event in New York on Tuesday, June 30, have been changed. I’d like to thank you for your RTs and mentions regarding this event. Instead of the live event in New York, Raggs will be using social media to reach out to as many parents as possible. If you could show some Twitter love and RT comments about the last day of the Raggs contest, that would be incredible. If you have any friends in Chicago that would be interested in a live audition, please tell them to go to Macy’s, 111 North State Street, Narcissus Room 7th Floor, Chicago, IL 60610. Auditions will be held from 10:00am to 2:00pm, CST. To enter children must be between the ages of 3-7 (at the time of entry) and accompanied to the audition with a parent or legal guardian.
The Raggs Rockin’ Kids Search launched on June 1st and began as a online/mail-in audition, where parents submit a 1-2 minute home video of their child. Due to enormous positive feedback from parents about the contest, Raggs LLC has decided to host a “Last Chance” audition to capture some of the excitement in a live format.
100 winners will be selected from the online, mail-in and live audition video submissions, which parents can still upload to the Raggs.com website or mail in. Winners will be notified in early July and taping is scheduled for mid-August in Charlotte, NC. The new episodes will air nationally in 2010. Further information and full contest rules are available at www.Raggs.com
Thanks again for your Twitter chatter.
