I am so excited about the winners just posted from last week’s Kosherfest 09 New Products Competition that was held on October 15 at the Marriott Glenpointe, NJ. I just received this report from Andover Communications out of Teaneck, NJ. As the kosher mom blogger with a mission to change any misconceptions about kosher food to people of all backgrounds and religions, this is very exciting for me. Now, for the results.
Teaneck, NJ — It took five judges and five hours to determine the best new kosher products of 2009, sponsored by the largest international kosher food trade show, Kosherfest (www.kosherfest.com). A line of microwaveable Asian noodles- LUCK CHEN, NY, NY- took the Best in Show at the 21st Annual Kosherfest New Products Competition, held at the Glenpointe Marriott in Teaneck, NJ. Winners in 18 separate categories of new kosher products were crowned by a panel of kosher food professionals, who sampled hundreds of new kosher food entries. In addition to Best In Show, the Manhattan-based Luck Chen also won for Best New Pasta, Rice Bean or Soup product. The line of ‘heat and serve’ Asian noodles is available in five flavors including Sesame Teriyaki, Spicy Szechwan, Soy Ginger, Spicy Kung Pao and Sweet & Sour.
