I was so excited to see and hear my twitter name, @primetimeparent, mentioned on The Talk. How did this happen to me? I believe it all starts with the people that we meet and the relationships that we develop over time. In fact, the incredible Beth Feldman and founder of rolemommy.com and Project You Magazine is the a person everybody in the blogging business should follow because she is real. I remember when I first met Beth just two years ago. She was sweet with a zest for business, a winning combination in my book. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with her on various projects, whether it be having ice cream with Gordon from Sesame Street or playing at the coolest (even on a hot day) Imagination Playground in Manhattan. Beth is consistently professional and a natural connector of people and opportunities.
When Beth had reached out to mom bloggers about the opportunity to ask the members of The Talk a question, I jumped! You can see my question and answer in another clip on this blog. I was really furklempt when this past Friday, December 17, 2010, I was mentioned in a special shout out to mommy bloggers that they follow along with @katjapresnal and @joeyfortman. What a distinct honor to be included amongst such incredible women and moms in social media.
Thank you @joeyfortman of http://www.realmommedia.com for posting this video of our mention on The Talk. If you haven’t already watched The Talk on CBS, you will! Imagine having coffee with co-host Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur. The viewers? Moms with children ranging in age from infant to adult. The conversation? Swapping stories about issues and events in the headlines and in their own homes through the lens of motherhood. It is so nice to know that the hosts of The Talk are using their reach to discuss important issues that affect us all. Another great thing about these women is that they are taking the opportunity to help families that have been affected by illness and economic hardships. A special shout out to @thetalk_cbs and. If you are on twitter, you can follow them here . Also, show them some love on their Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/TheTalkCBS.
If you are home, you catch THE TALK weekdays at 2pm ET – 1pm PT/CT!.
