Totsy Event Unveils Shopping Trends in Moms

Prime Time Parenting sent me out on assignment to cover a Totsy press event. The execs at Totsy did some extensive research where mom shops, how they shop, what’s their priorities, and I was surprised at some of the findings. This research was done In partnership with Maria Bailey, author, marketing to moms expert and owner of BSM Media. Mrs. Bailey moderated this lively discussion and revealed the results of two nationally representative surveys on Mom’s shopping trends.

For instance, did you know moms are more likely to buy a house when house shopping where there’s a window that looks into the backyard when doing dishes, then not. The stats included what moms are more likely to spend money on, how and if they travel, how much they enjoy traveling and things of that nature.

Totsy is on line shopping, called a flash site, with huge discounts on baby designer clothing, as well as some additional things for mom and dad. You order your products on line and get deep savings. The Chief Managing Officer, David Niggli is a twenty year veteran of FAO Schwartz and the founder Guillaume Gauthereau is a young visionary, whois revolutionizing the way moms shop for kids 0 -7. And Totsy is concerned about the environment, for each item purchased, they plant a tree.

Totsy sent cars to pick up the mommy bloggers who were covering the event, gave each blogger some candy and some clothing for their own kids and for me personally I felt like royalty covering the event. In my opinion they should change the name of the company to Hotsy Totsy to be more accurate. This mom and blogger is a fan of Totsy.
