The summer heat is a warm (literally) welcome and I wouldn’t trade it in for an icy, snowy, freezing day for anything, trust me. However, being near and around as much water as possible is on our agenda. I am thrilled to share with you a special summertime event going on right now at the New York Aquarium with plenty of water.
This event, which started on June 8 and will continue until September 9, features a wide range of interactive exhibits and weekend programming dedicated to water conservation and the spectacular New York Seascape. You and your family can enjoy Water’s Extreme Journey, a walk-through maze that includes an exciting zipline ride, water cycle puzzles, and a wildlife wheel of facts. In the maze, experience life as a droplet of water, as you navigate through local waterways, dart past pollutants, and finally head out to the ocean. On weekends, enjoy art exhibits, hands-on activities, and much more.
A-MAZE-ING Water activities take place under the Pavilion Tent. The Water’s Extreme Journey exhibit will be open daily.
