(Sponsored) How Disney Paint Made My Kids’ Room ‘Magically Magnificent’

I previously shared my journey of buying Disney Paint from Walmart and selecting the paint that would ultimately bring the Disney magic into this room. With the beautiful color selections and specialty finishes from Disney Paint, we have successfully transformed this room from ‘drab’ to ‘fab’. In fact, we were so inspired that we actually transformed my other daughter’s room as well.

Since the larger room is shared by both my son and daughter, we wanted to incorporate colors that would complement both of their favorite Disney characters. While he is all about Toy Story and Cars, she loves Princess Cinderella and Princess Tiana. The end results, as you can see in the images below, are the perfect blend of colors for both him and her.

As you can see, the Royal Blue in Magnificent Metallic picks up the blues in our myriad of Disney products:

The color, Pretty as a Princess in the Disney Ultra Durable Paint, was just perfect for my daughter’s Disney ‘gadgets and gizmos of plenty’ as well.

In order to celebrate the official unveiling of this new room, we invited a few of the kids’ friends over for a party. We even had a couple of fun projects, like creating a special poster with Disney stickers. The kids decided to make it into Walt Disney World.

Per my son’s request, the kids watched Wreck-It Ralph while the adults schmoozed downstairs. Something else about this new room that I would like to share is that it FINALLY got my son to stay in his own bed. We tried several strategies before (reward charts, Toy Story pillow, pajamas) but none of those worked. I feel that the Disney Paint by Glidden in Royal Blue in Magnificent Metallic really made the difference.

I want to express my sincerest gratitude to my incredible husband. His tireless efforts, even after a long day of work, help getting the kids fed, bathed, and into bed, paid off big time! He even picked-out the adorable curtains (pink as anything) and curtain rods, on his own. Yes, he hung them up as well.

Before the party was over, we all enjoyed some bbq hamburgers, chicken, and corn on the cob that my husband prepared on the grill. A couple of our friends came over and viewed the room as well. They were all impressed! One of my friends commented, “The new colors just pop. When the natural light comes in, it circulates the new colors around the rooms”.

Since it was a school night, the party had to come to a close. First, the raffle drawing for the $50 gift card to Walmart! A very happy 9 year old girl won! The ending to a truly magical day in our very own home.
